On Linux systems, when temporary credential caching is enabled, the Snowflake JDBC Driver will cache temporary credentials locally in a world-readable file. This vulnerability affects versions 3.6.8 through 3.21.0. Snowflake fixed the issue in version 3.22.0.

Affected

Our own answer: ranges merged, affected separated from platform-only, with confidence and review flags.

3.6.8 ≤ v < 3.22.0
Affected range stops below 3.22.0, so it looks safe — our inference, not a vendor statement
linux-linux-kernel (environment)
v < 3.22.0
Affected range stops below 3.22.0, so it looks safe — our inference, not a vendor statement

Runs on — not affected

The affected product only carries this flaw when running on these platforms. The platforms themselves are not vulnerable.
