EPSS (Exploit Prediction Scoring System) estimates a 14.3% chance this CVE is exploited in the wild within the next 30 days — higher than 97% of all CVEs. It complements CVSS: a high EPSS on a mid-severity CVE can still be urgent.
Mozilla Firefox contains a use-after-free vulnerability in XSLT parameter processing which can be exploited to perform arbitrary code execution.
Removing an XSLT parameter during processing could have lead to an exploitable use-after-free. We have had reports of attacks in the wild abusing this flaw. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 97.0.2, Firefox ESR < 91.6.1, Firefox for Android < 97.3.0, Thunderbird < 91.6.2, and Focus < 97.3.0.
